Is there any way I can get this sound card working with W7? Last edited: Oct 7, Have you checked their website; are they still in business? It sounds like you have a desktop here. If it had Vista or XP on it before your upgrade, they may not have a driver available, especially if they went out of business.
They are the industry standard and will work for all versions of Windows. Try to make sure if you buy on eBay or somewhere similar that the Card was manufacturerd after for best results with drivers that were properly written and tested for Window7. Yes they are a small company, I think they’re still in business but my particuler sound card have been discontinued I might consider going back to XP?!
How many more years do you recon XP’s got before it becomes obsolete? Thanks for posting back Elliott! Wow, a new company I never heard of making audio cards–amazing! Live and learn. On the XP–we are hearing Feb. Of course that has been pushed back before and probably will be again, as XP has the largest number of worldwide users of any Windows version in Microsoft’s illustrious history.
BTW, that means no more paid tech support on phone, no more XP media replacements, but not download of legacy drivers, service packs, tech articles in MSDnet, and developer kits. Our Windows Forum leader has some posts here about that if you’re interested you can read the sticky he has in Windows XP forum I think. He works very closely with the Microsoft people. You have a few more months then to get things you need or upgrade to newer Windows versions etc.
