I have never heard of this laptop company before but I have a Chrome Book and needed something to replace it. After Googling and searching Amazon doing some comparing this laptop stood out.
The memory, cpu speed and size of the drive is comparable to something twice the price. Seriously other laptops the same size with these specifications are twice the money. I have streamed Prime and Netflix, iPlayer with no problem and I use YouTube a lot nowadays and that worked like it does on anything else : Obviously this machine is not for editing videos or large photoshop files which I use a MacBook Pro for but I have been able to edit WordPress website on the go with it and some simple image cropping.
The keyboard is great and easy to type with confidence, not had any missed key presses or stuck keys at all. Works really well.
You get a full version of Windows so setting up was easy. I entered in my Microsoft account and was up and running in no time : The build quality is shockingly good for the price too.

Cannot understand some of the reviews. I feel the performance is really acceptable and am overall very happy with it. I didn’t know much about S mode but when I Googled it I realized it was very easy to switch to windows I just wish some of the reviewers had googled S mode. It really is not an issue and should not affect the review score of this laptop.
Just to reassure everyone thinking of buying it , yes it comes on S mode but it is incredibly easy to switch to Windows By the way , a lot of computers are shipped on S mode not just this one! The actual laptop is very nice looking and the keyboard is easy to use however the speed of the laptop is extremely slow and it buffers often when watching movies etc.
Its a long time since ive had a device buffer one me! Would send it back if I could. The laptop arrived damage and the screen would not work see photo. Made contact with customer service and was offered little support besides being asked to restart the laptop which was no help. They wouldn’t send a replacement device so finally confirmed I could send back for a refund- which is still a nightmare as left without a laptop which I still need.

Like with every Windows 7 install disc, you need a genuine product key to activate it. That can be a key from a sticker or if your computer was made by the likes of Dell or HP, you can backup the OEM key before reinstalling. Thanks for the reply. I would be very surprised if MS does not include spyware whenever one of their products is installed so that they can identify the computer. While downloading the two versions of 7 and 8. It took many rounds of account verification and entering codes before it would finally let me log in to Live.
But since there are few companies more slimy and sneaky than MS, I am concerned that they might do something like block access to their web site or product updates. Before this I had never thought I would have a need to use a proxy to hide my identity. My downloads continued and the SHA1 checksums verified correctly.
I did have trouble getting to the pages that had the links to download 7 and 8. Since the time I search a clean version of win7, problem solved in few seconds except the downlading ; Thank you! No free upgrades from Vista to Win7 are available.

Which would reinstall a PC by Dell, HP, Acer, etc on a replacement hard drive that would allow the key code to be accepted? There are three key codes. Which ISOs, if any, will match which of these key codes? Microsoft makes this very confusing.
If you can you shed some light on this, it would be very helpful? As these are not required for general users we left them out of the modified script. The standard Windows 7 downloads will cover almost everything including retail and OEM so you can use the key from the sticker. The only thing they do not cover is the OEM pre installed keys, which if the computer was purchased from HP, Dell etc will be the key you find in Magic Jellybean and is different to the one on the sticker.

The entire “free upgrade” offer was always accompanied by language that was, to put it politely, a bit squishy. And the language around the end of that offer was similarly vague. That’s very odd language. The free upgrade through the Get Windows 10 app ended on July 29, Likewise, the discussion of product keys says a key will be necessary “for this tool to work” not true but doesn’t say a word about licensing.
And unlike the weaselly “Genuine Windows” label on older upgrades, the activation screens for a Windows 10 upgrade specifically confirm the existence of a “digital license. Anyway, the free upgrade offer was extended briefly, at least for people who use assistive technologies. The FAQ on a separate page even called it a “free upgrade offer extension” and pointedly noted that it was not limited to specific assistive technologies.
I regularly use the Magnifier utility in Windows, which is indisputably an assistive technology. Of course, I’m not a lawyer, and this column isn’t legal advice. But I will say that I am personally confident in the activation status of any PC upgraded using the tool on that page during the eligibility period.
